Job Title: Punch Press Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Amada 357 Punch Press.

• Perform repetitive loading of 4x10 steel beams into the press.

• Load appropriate tooling into the turret.

• Support other fabricator duties as needed.

• Perform initial quality check of parts against blueprints.

• Cross-train on Press Brake and operate depending on production schedule.

• Complete value-added processes such as drilling, tapping, post-machining, deburring, and polishing.

• Perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on processing equipment.

• Properly use and read measurement equipment and gauges (calipers, tapes, etc.).

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical information on blueprints.

• Apply strong math skills such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of CNC machine operating experience.

• Ability to read blueprints.

• Experience using calipers and gauges.

• Ability to stand for 10+ hours a day.

• Experience working in a production shop.

• GED or high school diploma.

Work Environment

This is a first shift position from Monday through Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm, with occasional Fridays if needed. The role involves working in a production shop environment, handling large metal parts, and operating machinery.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
