Nammo Defense Systems, Inc Material Planner in Perry, Florida
JOB SUMMARY: The Material Planner is responsible for all data entry created and responsible for material planning, this is up to and including, lead time and other material issues, tracking all Bill of Material items and issuing to the production floor to support manufacturing schedules, and lead end of lot inventories The Material Planner serves as liaison between the Supply Chain/Materials and Operations Department
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Works closely with warehouse to ensure all materials are received, inspected, and issued to the production floor in a timely manner
Works closely with the Subcontract Administrators on active demand requirements, lead times quality issues, and other issues that affect seamless production processes
Construct picks as required and monitor scrap/usage rates across various programs
Ability to read a Bill of Material (BOM) and basic Technical Data Package drawings.
Responsible for data integrity of ERP M-BOM generated from E-BOM
Responsible for data entry and integrity of active material demand for active programs/projects to include regularly updating of program schedules
Work with Engineering on identifying and updating, as necessary, attrition rates in D365
Conduct end of lot material analysis in partnership with Program Management and Production for over/under usage and costs
Responsible for item data integrity in D365 in partnership with Configuration Management.
Responsible for walking the production floor as needed to monitor inventory levels and have knowledge of all parts related issues, delays, outages etc.
Attend Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Daily Management meetings.
Responsible for leading end of lot inventory after each Manufacturing Order/ production lot is complete

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
3 years related experience preferred
Safety mindset
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent organizational skills; managing paperwork associated with inventory control
Excellent computer skills; prefer knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft D365
Self-starter, ability to work independently and handle projects timely and efficiently; meeting specified deadlines
Ability to be attentive to accuracy and detail; act with sense of urgency
Good interpersonal skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must submit to and pass a drug test pursuant to Company Drug-Free Workplace Policy which includes random testing
Must have good vision (may be corrected)
Must have good hearing (may be corrected)
Must be able to stand/walk/sit for prolonged periods of time
Must have stamina to work more than the scheduled workday when needed, including nights and weekends
