Our client is looking to hire a Network Implementation Specialist! The Network Implementation Specialist will work in a contract capacity, M-F, 40 hours a week.

They will travel to different work sites across southern, central, and northern Illinois (Peoria, Peru, Bloomington, Rockford, Chicagoland, etc.). They will work with Network Services teams to install and configure communications equipment related to LAN, WAN, Voice, and Wireless.

This person should have 3+ years of experience in networking, telecommunications, wireless, LAN/WAN, VoIP, racking & stacking, etc. Any Networking/CISCO certifications are a plus!

responsibilities:

• Work closely with team leadership, project management, and teammates.

• Deploy and configure network and communications equipment with oversight and documentation.

• Wireless network deployments, LAN implementations and VOIP telephony migrations, Cisco phone deployments.

• Troubleshoot networks, communications, and IT equipment.

• Document project efforts, modify project-related documentation, and communicate with project team and clients.

• Work with project management resources to plan for deployment or upgrade activities

• Provide input into project work plans, help define key activities and tasks and allocation of resource time.

• Implement new technology as specified with a high degree of professionalism and customer communication.
