We are looking for a talented Marketing Consultant to join our Safety Services team to develop a strong pipeline of new customers through prospecting, improving online presence, supporting customer events, executing market research, and providing expertise in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to drive business development.

Our solutions help organizations assess their current safety beliefs, mindset, and practices, build ownership through employee engagement, and strengthen leadership behaviors to make safety positive and proactive. What you will do:

  • Developing a strong pipeline of new customers through prospecting; identifying and securing industry speaking events; supporting annual customer summit; revitalizing our online presence (SEO); updating website content and solutions collateral; creating compelling ROI tools including customer stories and case studies; coordinating Safety Services podcast guest appearances, blog articles, social media posts; and collaborating with other internal business units and marketing strategists.

  • Conducting market/competitive research to identify new opportunities and building effective customer strategies.

  • Establishing metrics to monitor and review the effectiveness of existing marketing strategies; suggesting necessary interventions for improvement. Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is preferred.

  • Maintaining effective internal communications in the business development department to discuss and align the marketing strategy with sales goals.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers).

Additional Information:

The primary location for this position is Peoria, IL.

Domestic relocation assistance is not available.

This position may require 10 % travel.
