Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Commercial HVAC Service Manager to lead a team of 11 field service technicians supporting large commercial clients in the Peoria, IL area. This manager will spend half of their time in the field in front of clients with their supervisors and the other half focused on the administration side of the role which includes contract reviews, performance reviews, forecasting and estimating and quoting for the business. They will be responsible for recruiting their own technicians should there be a vacancy and hiring those individuals. The right candidate must be an excellent communicator who is able to be resourceful and leverage the right individuals to get work done. They must be strategic and create a vision for the business.

Skills and Requirements

• 4+ years of service management experience in the Commercial HVAC industry -- large commercial clients

• Must have experience with heavy applied chillers, air cool, water cool and rooftop units

• 2+ years of experience managing a team of technicians

• High School diploma or GED

• Must have a valid Driver's License - Working knowledge and understanding of commercial HVAC systems

• Technical aptitude with knowledge of local building codes and an ability to use resources at hand to develop solutions

• Good computer skills null
