Wet spray paint parts using a spray gun
- Capableof performing all functions in thePaint Department,including sanding, masking, part preparation, and packaging for shipment.
- Capableof reading blueprints and understanding them and other technical documents,such ascustomer specification document, MSDSs,TDSs, etc.
- Ability to assemble, use, disassemble and clean: paint guns, hoses, mixing machines, recyclers, filters, and other miscellaneous paint equipment.
- Understanding of proper paint receiving, storage, rotation, mixing, application, and disposal in accordance with environmental regulations and quality procedures.
- Ability to inspect parts pre- and post-application for compliance with customer quality requirements.
- Ability to use and recalibrate painttesting equipment such as Zahn cups and mil thickness gauges.
- Knowledge of paint chemistry, itseffecton finished product quality, and the effects of environmental conditions on same.
- Ability to operate a forklift, after proper training and testing, optional not required.
