*Key Responsibilities:*
Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in a high paced, stressful environment.
Manage phone calls, intake emergency cases, and assist with client inquiries.
Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
Handle administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
Adapt quickly to changing priorities and high-stress situations.
Maintain a positive and supportive attitude in a team-oriented setting.
Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners and visitors.
Uphold cleanliness and organization of reception area and hospital facilities.
*Qualifications:*
High-energy individual with a proactive, "busy-body" approach to tasks.
Previous Veterinary Receptionist experience preferred.
Strong emphasis on being personable, client-focused, and compassionate towards animals.
Ability to lift and move moderately heavy objects (up to 20 lbs) as needed.
Attention to detail is crucial for accurate record-keeping and appointment scheduling.
Familiarity with OSHA requirements specific to veterinary hospital settings.
Willingness and capability to assist with cleaning and maintaining hospital facilities as part of daily duties.
