Position Summary

Xylem is looking for a Senior Field Service Technician to service our water and wastewater treatment equipment at customer sites in the Pensacola, FL and surrounding areas.

What your day will look like as a Senior Field Service Technician

The Senior Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water and wastewater treatment equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle, within our Municipal division. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but candidates with previous experience working in municipal, commercial, or industrial water treatment, plumbing, or with experience working on other industrial or commercial equipment and their corresponding mechanical and electrical components, are especially encouraged to apply.

This position operates on a standard Monday-Friday day shift, and has an on-call requirement 24/7 unless otherwise discussed. Occasional weekend work will be required for emergencies.

Position Requirements for Senior Field Service Technicians

• HS diploma or equivalent

• 2-5 years technical experience in municipal, industrial, or commercial process water experience, or equivalent experience working with other industrial and commercial equipment and their mechanical and electrical components

• Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices

• Ability to work in a high customer facing position

• Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns

• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50% or more daily travel

Job postings will include a wide salary range, with each role's pay falling within that range. Actual starting salary is based on factors such as skills, experience, location, and market conditions.

$45,000.00 - $72,000.00
