Robert Half is hiring with an established construction company to find a qualified Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager based in Pensacola, Florida. The successful candidate will lead and develop a team of Accounts Receivable Specialists, manage AR processes, and build lasting relationships with both internal and external customers. This role also involves managing customer credit accounts, ensuring timely collection of payments and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor a team of Accounts Receivable Specialists

• Oversee the management of account AR portfolio, ensuring regular achievement of DSO, cash flow, and % current targets

• Collaborate with divisions and leadership to monitor and improve collection efforts

• Adhere to and enforce company policies while driving collection of delinquent customer balances

• Maintain Lien/Bond rights, execute lien waivers, and file Liens/Bond Claims as necessary

• Balance the need to collect and secure with sales goals and relationships

• Negotiate and secure arrangements for payment with delinquent accounts within limits of authority

• Facilitate resolution and escalations with various stakeholders, including Operations, Finance, Sales, and Commercial teams

• Keep up to date customer collection notes in the system of record

• Provide support to customers (both internal and external) to effectively resolve collection issues, such as discrepancies, reconcile disputes, short payments, and payment inquiries

• Manage and evaluate release of all credit holds for assigned portfolio

• Assist with month-end close processes as required, and provide ad hoc reporting as required.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ERP Solutions, Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing Functions, Cash Activity, Collection Processes, Accounts receivables systems, Collections, Supervisory management.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions is a must.

• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) is desired.

• Experience with IBM AS/400 is a plus.

• Ability to manage all Accounting Functions efficiently.

• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures.

• Capable of handling Billing Functions effectively.

• Ability to manage Cash Activity diligently.

• Experience with Collection Processes is a must.

• Proficiency in Accounts receivables systems is required.

• Experience in Collections management is essential.

• Proven Supervisory management skills in a relevant field.
