THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing data quality concerns associated with workers' compensation information. You will formulate a strategy to tackle these issues, and in cases where the problems may have widespread implications, you will propose solutions that involve collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to effectively resolve the matter. Should any questions arise during the process of cleansing or validating a profile, you are expected to reach out to the relevant internal or external contacts via phone.

Additionally, you will create reports aimed at uncovering areas of potentially inaccurate data, conducting thorough analyses of the report findings to pinpoint necessary corrections. You will also provide recommendations for procedural or systematic improvements to avert future data quality challenges, uphold data integrity within the system, streamline workflows, and enhance customer service. Furthermore, you will engage in the quarterly enhancement process by reviewing requirements and designs for any necessary modifications or approvals, assessing test cases, entering data configurations, and performing system testing.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment

  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information, or

  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.
