THE POSITION

The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is seeking a motivated Maintenance Repairman 2 to work at the Middle Creek Visitors Center. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will perform various skilled and semi-skilled tasks maintaining the Middle Creek Visitors Center and vehicle fleet. You will repair doors, frames, windows, electrical circuits, water systems, alarm systems, and freezer units. You will also f abricate and install temporary partitions; perform masonry work for buildings, bridges, and foundations; and use a variety of lawn and landscaping equipment. This role requires the ability to maintain effective working relationships to lead small groups of semi-skilled workers, as well as the ability to maintain clear and accurate records.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or
Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Special Requirements:
You must be in possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
Additional Requirements:
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
