DESCRIPTION OF WORK

A Maintenance Repairman 2 will perform skilled journey level work in several trades, exercising technical independence in determining proper work methods and procedures. A key part your role will be completing plumbing projects in our plumbing shop. You will also address general maintenance, carpentry, electrical, and painting duties which may use blueprints and diagrams.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.

  • Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

  • Overtime as needed.

  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or

  • Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or

  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

    Special Requirements:

  • This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
