THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will oversee all facets of budget management, fiscal analysis, reporting, and audit-related functions. You are the primary contact for agency budget administration, d edicated funding, daily fiscal operations, revenue collections, audit coordination, internal control monitoring, and fiscal management of federal grants. Furthermore, you will manage a team of Fiscal Management Specialists responsible for providing budgetary and fiscal analysis, as well as reporting support to different bureaus and funds within the agency.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment

  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 4;or

  • Four years of experience in professional fiscal administration, one of which includes serving in a supervisory capacity, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field;or

  • An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes one year of professional supervisory experience in fiscal administration.
