DESCRIPTION OF WORK
An Equal Opportunity Specialist 3 engages in autonomous professional activities related to the oversight and management of the Department's external On-the-Job Training (OJT) Program, along with the OJT Supportive Services (OJT SS) initiative. In the capacity of the Bureau’s Program Manager, this role involves the administration and monitoring of specialized OJT/SS projects that are initiated by the Headquarters’ Office of Civil Rights in collaboration with Pennsylvania's FHWA Division Office. Additionally, this position entails the supervision of two Equal Opportunity Specialist 2s, each of whom is tasked with providing support to the Eastern Region, encompassing Districts 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 as well as the Western Region, which includes Districts 1, 2, 9, 10, 11, and 12.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as an Equal Opportunity Specialist 2 (Commonwealth title); or
Three years of analytical experience in an equal opportunity program that includes two years of professional experience, and a bachelor’s degree; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
