THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As the training lead assigned to the System of Care (SOC) Services unit, you will be responsible for developing, conducting, evaluating, and coordinating training and development programs for all partners in the child servicing system. Partners include but are not limited to social service staff, academic faculty, children, and families. Work involves the analysis and determination of training needs, selection of appropriate resources, and design of training materials and programs. You will be expected to exercise Initiative and independent judgment within the framework of System of Care objectives and Behavioral Health training needs. This position requires travel throughout Lycoming and Clinton Counties and reports directly to the SOC Project Director.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.
Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of professional experience in public or private social work, including or supplemented by one year of experience in staff development or supervision involving the development, coordination or evaluation of training programs; and a bachelor's degree; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Sullivan, or Union counties.
