THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you would perform the clerical and office duties for the ADE-Design and the Design Unit, which include, but are not limited to, independently answering phones, processing mail, proofreading documents, tracking deadlines, complaints and CCCs. Ability to assemble, organize and present status information from various source materials concerning the operation of a process or office activity.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment.

  • Work hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.

  • Upon successful completion of a 6-month probationary period, you may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Indiana.

  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or

  • Graduation from high school;or

  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

    Special Requirements:

  • This position requires keyboarding skills to meet standards for speed and accuracy.

    Additional Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
