Our PE-backed Somerset, NJ client is seeking an Assistant Project Engineer to join their team on a contract to hire basis.

The Assistant Project Engineer will be responsible for the coordination of bidding activities, maintenance of bid board, and supporting Project Managers and Estimators. 1-2 years of construction management experience required.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Project Engineer will be responsible for:

Performing RFP review and processing

Distributing project documents and contract drawings, completing prequalification statements, and coordinating vendor pricing

Maintaining and updating proposals in bid system

Collaborating with Estimating department to ensure proposal completion

Creating submittal logs and processing submittals in collection with Project Managers

Assisting with completion of project booking documents, cost management, and ensuring billing accuracy

Additional Details:

Salary: $35.00/hr

Salary range $35/ HR W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
