About the role
As a Retail / Admin Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of retail and admin projects for our Financial Services Sector client, with direct accountability for project delivery.
This is a New York-based hybrid position and does require availability to work on-site or complete site visits in New York.
What you’ll do
Manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual commercial real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
Interface directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
Identify project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification processes; conduct standard to sophisticated requests for proposals; complete bid analysis; lead evaluation interviews and recommend resources to clients.
May lead project delivery resources/team (typically a larger more expert-level team) providing project mentorship and direction to achieve project goals.
Implement communication plans for meetings, written reports and meeting minutes to ensure client and project resources are advised in real-time. Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated. Facilitate project meetings.
Supervise progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Craft action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
Implement change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to resolve impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk.
Demonstrate ability to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.

What you’ll need
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Bachelor's degree with at least six years of related experience and/or training.
Previous Project Management experience with commercial renovations and retail bank projects is a plus. General knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices and the ability to read architectural drawings.
Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information with a willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
Interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment while managing multiple projects and/or programs in varying stages. Class "A" Financial, Professional Services Sector, or Retail Bank experience is helpful.
Ability to work from the client's NYC offices and travel throughout the Northeast to complete site visits is required.

The minimum salary for this position is $120,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $150,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
