Power Integrations NPI Document Control Specialist in Penang, Malaysia

Power Integrations (POWI) is looking for a NPI Document Control Specialist to work with Product Engineers to define, generate and drive product BOM and engineering builds in PLM for our industry leading high-power AC to DC converters. We are looking for a person who has experience in documentation management, high attention to detail, and has ability to prioritize between tasks based on business requirements. They should be able to communicate effectively with planners and diverse team of engineers including Product, Package, Test and Foundry to release the products to sampling and production. In this position you will be playing a key role in new product development activities which is highly visible to our management.

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate closely with engineers to create, structure and release BOMs, including Part numbers, change orders and documents.

· Knowledgeable enough to identify the documentation errors and work with engineers to resolve the errors.

· Work with Product Engineers, Internal Oracle Admin, Planners and Assembly sites to track and resolve any Engineering Build Order (EBO) issues.

· Coordinate with engineers and maintain a consolidated Wafer material tracking system.

· Generate reports on a Weekly basis to track EBO progress and report to New Product development team.

Qualifications:

· BS in Engineering, Science, Business or other applicable degrees with a minimum of 8 years of working experience.

  • Configuration management and Bill of Material experience (BOM).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in any Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool in the semiconductor industry. Oracle Agile PLM experience preferred but not required.

  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment and also work independently.

  • Attention to detail with multitasking and prioritization abilities.
