As a Business Analyst at Zebra, your role will be crucial in utilizing data to generate insights and guide strategic decisions. You'll work extensively with large datasets, applying analytical techniques, and partnering with cross-functional teams to discover trends, pinpoint opportunities, and enhance business performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Responsibilities

  • Collaborates directly with business stakeholders to design a variety of moderately complex reports using data sourced from single or multiple systems, adhering to specified requirements.

  • Assesses existing reports for data accuracy and proposes solutions for quality issues of limited scope to senior analysts or supervisors. Escalates complex quality concerns to supervisors or senior staff for resolution.

  • Identifies and interprets trends and patterns within datasets to uncover underlying influences, demonstrating strong variance analysis skills

  • Proficient in costed bill of materials analysis.

  • Collaboration

  • Organizes and facilitates monthly cross-functional Operating Excellence meetings.

  • Identifies anomalies in financial data and collaborates with business partners to resolve them.

  • Presents reports in formats conducive to stakeholder interpretation, such as pivot tables and graphs.

  • Manage ad hoc requests related to reporting/analytics, processes, and other general support

  • Process

  • Develops documentation for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Effective in time management, adept at handling multiple demands and prioritizing competing challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2-5 years experience

  • Can synthesize complex data into themes, stories and recommendations

  • Intermediate systems knowledge in assigned functional area

  • Microsoft Excel - intermediate skills

  • Can present data in a visually compelling format to help business stakeholders understand the issues, possibilities and recommendations

  • Microsoft PowerPoint - intermediate

  • Presentation skills - intermediate skills required. Some formal training in public speaking/presentation skills preferred
