Description

We are seeking a proficient Sr. Accountant to join our client's team in the Automotive industry based in PELL CITY, Alabama. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for supporting general ledger accounting and month-end closing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct account reconciliation to maintain the accuracy of financial records

• Execute balance sheet reconciliations and monitor for discrepancies

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and transparency

• Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date

• Prepare and record journal entries as part of the financial accounting process

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

• Oversee month-end close procedures and ensure timely completion

• Operate within the SAP environment for various accounting tasks.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required for this position.

• Expertise in Bank Reconciliations is a key requirement for this role.

• Familiarity with General Ledger is necessary for successful performance in this job.

• The applicant should be skilled in making Journal Entries.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for managing and analyzing financial data.

• Experience in Month End Close procedures is a significant requirement for this role.

• Knowledge of SAP software is required for efficient management of accounting operations.
