JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title:\ \ Stacker Tube Mill
Summary of Job:
Stacks finished product to be banded. Adjusts rolls to proper bundle size. Aligns tube to facilitate banding into bundles. Assures correct number of pieces according to work order. Stabilizes bundle with 2 or 3 bands utilizing air or hand banders. Operates conveyor controls to move bundles to banding area. Assists crane operator in moving scrap from racks to storage area. Monitors quality of product both visually and by touch. May run banding machine. Keeps work area clean and orderly.

3) Aligning and counting product
4) Operating banding equipment
5) Operating conveyor controls
6) Assisting crane operator
7) Keeping work area clean and orderly.
8) Reporting to work regularly and on time.
Physical Demands:\ Medium, occasional lifting to 50#, climb & balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, finger, feel, see, communication abilities
Working Conditions:\ Inside, noise & vibration, overtime required, variable work days and/or hours
Training/Experience/Education Requirements:\ Anything beyond short demonstration up to and including 30 days
Math, Language & Computer Skills Required:\ Math-add & subtract two digit numbers, multiply & divide 10s & 100s by 2,3,4,5. Read work specification sheets, work & safety rules. Ability to communicate with co-workers.
License/Certification/Degree Required:\ Prefer high school diploma

Performance Standards Required:\ Maintaining stacking speed consistent with mill production and adhering to company safety and work regulations
