We are privately held American owned Small Business made up of five (5) vertically integrated manufacturing and assembly divisions, each with their own history, specializations and products.
Seeking a Technician for the following position. Position is intended to be long-term, training under the current Maintenance Supervisor, with an intent to assume the role of Maintenance Supervisor upon his departure.
MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
Hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm. The skills listed below are preferable, but applicants lacking (some) skills will still be considered in light of the intent to train the right applicant.
JOB SUMMARY
Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repair of production machinery.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Perform routine building maintenance duties, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, and carpentry
Preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Complete filling out forms and reporting maintenance statuses to supervisor
Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
Work with and maintain relationships with contracted vendors
Communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers, and contractors
Adhere stringently to all safety guidelines by company keeping work area clean
Enforces DCX-CHOL Enterprises policies and safety practices.
Participates in training, safety, and quality programs.
Ability to handle multiple projects and to meet deadlines is required.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
High school diploma or GED. 2+ years in maintenance.
Plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems (including relevant equipment and tools) is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals and documents
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from supervisors
May be required to work outside of normal work hours
Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment
Ability to work individually or as part of a team
Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date
Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, and capable of routinely bending to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
Competent in the daily tasks to meet his/hers job duties acquired from on the job training.
ITAR Requirements:
