Naval Facilities Engineering Command PRODUCTION CONTROLLER in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii

Summary You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER in the ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII. Responsibilities You will manage the scheduling of projects and prepare production plans for abatement/handling and disposal of solid, industrial and hazardous waste related to repair, alteration, construction and demolition projects. You will schedule and control projects based upon shop capacity, priority, due date and funds availability. You will coordinate project execution with customers to keep them informed of progress. You will compile estimates of different types of skilled labor and the number of worker-hours required for production operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications FOR THE GS-9: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing the scheduling of projects, preparing production plans and providing estimates for contract pricing related to abatement/handling/disposal of solid, industrial and hazardous waste related to repair, alteration, construction and demolition projects for review by others; 2) Using management software to assist with the administration of projects (i.e. MAXIMO, DWAS); 3) Reviewing regulatory requirements to properly schedule abatement projects; and 4) Following Federal and State regulations in the collecting, handling, transporting, storing and disposing of Industrial and Hazardous waste. FOR THE GS-7:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting with managing the scheduling of projects, preparing production plans and providing estimates for contract pricing related to abatement/handling/disposal of solid, industrial and hazardous waste related to repair, alteration, construction and demolition projects; 2) Interpreting Federal and State regulations in the collecting, handling, transporting, storing and disposing of Industrial and Hazardous waste; 3) Adhering to regulatory requirements to properly schedule abatement projects; and 4) Using management software to assist with maintaining oversight of projects (i.e. MAXIMO, DWAS).
