U.S. Pacific Fleet, Commander in Chief INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii

Summary You will serve as a Senior Intelligence Analyst (SIA) and expert advisor for Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMPACFLT), Directorate for Intelligence (N2). in the COMPACFLT MILITARY INTEL PROGRAM. All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status. Responsibilities You will direct and oversee all PACFLT all-source intelligence analysis, to include current maritime operational intelligence, geopolitical analysis, and military capability characterization. You will serve as expert advisor to COMPACFLT, the Director Maritime Information Warfare (DMIW), and the Director for Intelligence (N2). You will provide and oversee intelligence analytic support to operational planning and execution, to include combined, joint, and fleet command exercises. Represents the N2 within PACFLT, INDOPACOM and the Intelligence Community (IC). You will provide analytic oversight for all PACFLT intelligence analysis, to include executive correspondence, operational intelligence briefings, written memos, buck-slips, and watch-training curriculum development. You will oversee the production of daily and periodic operational intelligence for the Commander and staff elements. You will provide operational intelligence oversight to the Pacific Fleet Intelligence Federation’s (PFIF) and Maritime Intelligence Operations Center (MIOC) Intelligence and Warning watch. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS/14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Extensive Indo-Pacific expertise/experience across strategic and regional maritime security issues as well as adversary capabilities, intent & trends; 2. Demonstrated history of clear and effective executive-level communication (both written and oral); and 3. Proven track record of proactive, independent, and collaborative execution in accomplishing missions, functions, & tasks.
