Being responsible in the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including developing, deploying and reviewing SQL based applications and solutions Development. Being responsible for (SDLC) phases such as understanding, analyzing requirements, designing, developing, testing, deploying and providing go-live and post go-live support. Gathering and analyzing requirements from business users/analysts and estimating the feasibility of the deliverable within time constraints. Developing solutions including complex codes and applications using Snowflake, T-SQL, SSIS, Azure Data warehouse, Airflow, Python and Tableau. Performing Relational Database management using Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Data warehouse. Working with Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Data warehouse database to provide a highly scalable and available application. Building and deploying the code using DevOPS and testing the developed solution on Snowflake/SQL server. Designing and implementing scalable ETL complex packages using SSIS/T-SQL. Improve the system performance during huge volume of data loading. Ensuring proper logging in SQL Server using SQL Agent. Following Waterfall/Agile model, with sequential design approach through the phases of conception, initiation, analysis, design, construction, testing, deployment and maintenance. Developing code using data warehousing principles and following Design Patterns to keep the code generic and maintainable. Managing and automating deployment of application using DevOPS, GIT Hub. Conducting Unit, Integration, Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing. Performing high quality Unit Testing using ALM application. Creating test plans and strategy with Quality Assurance (QA) Team for regression automation. Documenting performance testing in support of new implementations and making necessary changes to improve system performance. Coordinating with different teams to perform Integration Testing across internal Intuitive dependent applications. Providing Production Support according to business requirements. Debugging critical issues using SQL Server and fixing standard/custom issues to provide support to Business Users/ Analysts. Analyzing and resolving complex queries by improving performance using Execution plan and standard procedures. Enhancing the existing modules using T-SQL and Azure to accommodate changing business requirements and tracking changes through version control tool GIT Hub. Running SQL Agent, Airflow and BODS jobs on SQL servers to monitor and maintain the health of the application. Telecommuting permitted within the area of intended employment.
