We are in search of a Credit & Collections Manager based in Peabody, Massachusetts. This role is part of the finance department and is responsible for overseeing the collections processes. The position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the collections processes within the finance department

• Handle tasks such as manual billing, credits, and posting checks

• Follow up on past due accounts and unapplied cash ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies

• Manage customer payments and apply them accurately to accounts

• Maintain consistent communication with customers to resolve any discrepancies

• Prepare and analyze AR aging reports to monitor overdue payments

• Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries and resolve billing issues

• Assist with month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts receivable records

• Prepare client refunds and resolve Sales and Use Tax invoicing errors

• Maintain detailed records of billing and collections activities, providing backup for daily invoicing.

Requirements

• The Credit & Collections Manager must have proficiency in INFOR.

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required.

• B2B collections skill is a must for this role.

• The candidate should have experience in using CRM.

• The role requires an understanding of Accounting Functions.

• The candidate must be proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR).

• The role requires knowledge of Billing Functions.

• The candidate should be adept at handling Cash Activity.

• Cash Applications knowledge is necessary for this role.

• The candidate should have experience in Billing Collection.

• Collection operations is a key skill required for this role.

• The candidate must be proficient in handling Aged Receivables.

• Collections management skill is a must for this role.

• The role requires experience in Credit - Collections.
