Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the scheduled, unscheduled, and preventative maintenance and repair of a wide variety of beverage manufacturing and packaging equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical skill base, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, conveyor systems, and PLC usage.

• Completing preventive and proactive maintenance per the schedule to prevent equipment breakdowns.

• Utilizing root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages while collaborating with other departments.

• Acting as the initial responder when a line stops producing, ensuring appropriate mechanical help is on-site to correct problems quickly using electrical and/or mechanical skills.

• Prioritizing work to ensure timely maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment, tools, and utility systems to minimize manufacturing downtime. Completing all required paperwork and documentation in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

• Repairing or maintaining the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment, including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessary.
