Naval Air Systems Command SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in Patuxent River, Maryland
Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVAIR Sustainment Group, Financial Management Department of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND. Responsibilities You will provide executive and technical direction and administration by providing guidance to the Division. You will exercise responsibilities over a team of professional and support personnel divided into subordinate groups. You will lead the Enabler Account Management Division and manage the evaluation of Program Related Logistics/Engineering (PRL/PRE), and Non-Program Related Logistics/Engineering (NPRL/NPRE) efforts across the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). You will be responsible for the overall resolution and integration of logistics and sustainment readiness issues, including complex issues impacting overall organization and the Financial Management Department functions and programs. You will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the Planning/functional management for strategic planning, budgetary and system/interface requirements as well as the development, operations and maintenance support of the entire team. You will develop internal processes and mechanisms to ensure that program related logistics/engineering and industrial support strategies and plans are outcome based, and that their execution results in delivery of products and projected outcomes. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Detailed knowledge and understanding of Aviation Logistics Program 2) Management for in-service aircraft. 3) Knowledge of the PPBE process necessary to manage Air Systems Support sustainment budget activities. 4) Knowledge of advanced maintenance and logistics concepts, principles and practices sufficient to define relationships between budget structures, work-breakdown structures and system supportability requirements.
