Summary You will serve as a Program Manager in the Systems Acquisition Group, Program Management Department, of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Responsibilities You will manage and support the team to achieve program technical, cost, and schedule objectives. You will develop and coordinate all required program acquisition documentation and briefings; and ensure all program requirements and milestones are communicated and coordinated with program leadership. You will Identify program office and other discipline area support needed to meet assigned program requirements. You will serve as a liaison and representative in negotiations with other commands and offices of the Navy, DOD, and other governmental agencies and private organizations on matters pertaining to the program. You will do all other tasks as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band (DA-05) or grade level (GS-12/13) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage weapon systems acquisition; 2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing higher level procurement policies; 3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; 4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; and 5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a command.
