V2X Logistics Analyst IV - Top Secret Clearance in Patuxent River, Maryland

We are looking for an experienced and technically competent logistics analyst to work on a team that manages projects spanning a variety of security levels for a government program office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the DPM, Functional Leads and IPT Leads for a major DoD Acquisition Program.

  • Provide technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources

  • Review systems acquisition logistical requirements

  • Develop logistics support and maintainability programs or plans

  • Review life cycle cost analysis and control;

  • Review weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility

  • Work with systems engineers and IPT leads to assist in capturing plans of action and milestones for working off technical issues.

  • Analyze information and make recommendations with supporting rationale.

  • Utilize government-furnished data to develop products such as briefings and presentations, project reports, illustrations, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Education / Certifications:

  • BS/BA in a technical, scientific or management field or equivalent experience. A BS/BA can be substituted with 4 additional years of related experience and an AA or AS degree. Or an additional 8 years of related experience.

  • 3 years of technical /management/development/integration experience with aircraft, weapons, and/or operations with 3 of those years occurring within the last 3 years. Appropriate educational background may be substituted for experience.

  • 2 years current experience preparing project budgets.

  • 2 years of current experience in analyzing and preparing logistics documentation in support of mission planning.

  • Experience preparing SOWs for technical and administrative contractor support.

    Experience:

    Skills & Technology Used:

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic multiple security environment

  • Experience with NAVAIR Acquisition Programs

  • Experience with Microsoft office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project

  • Experience with NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review process

  • Aptitude to quickly learn, fully understand, and effectively use source documents: engineering drawings, change orders, BoMs, DLA drawings, OEM/MFG vendor drawings, etc

  • Experience with DoD Risk and Opportunity management process
