Power Integrations Senior Marcom Generalist in Pasig City, Philippines

Marketing Communications is seeking a MarCom Generalist with a strong background in both graphic design and event management to own and support a broad variety of MarCom tasks. Your focus will be divided between graphic design/content/collateral development (50-60%); event/trade show management (30-40%); and other MarCom tasks as assigned (10%). You will be heavily supporting the Senior MarCom Manager in China for Chinese / Southeast Asia / Australia activities. Travel may be required.

What You'll Be Doing:

Graphic Design & Content/Collateral Development

  • Prepare new or edit existing content (posters, flyers, ads, presentations, speaking abstracts, eDMs, speaking proposals, white papers, trade show booth graphics and demo posters, published customer success stories, pitches, images, renderings, animations, blogs ghost-written articles, etc.)

  • Take an ownership role of processes and various content pieces from development to approvals to translation to publication and distribution.

  • Ensure that Power Integrations brand guidelines, writing guides and standards are always met.

  • Ensure proper processes are followed and assets are kept up to date in the digital asset management tool.

  • Deliver or oversee delivery of all creative and product content (working with creative agency and product marketing managers), logistics, metrics, and execution of events.

  • Manage yourself and other cross-functional team members/collaborators to meet stringent deadlines while producing quality work.

    Event Management

  • Help plan and execute a portion of the 60+ global events in which PI participates annually: tradeshows, industry conferences, trainings, virtual events, webinars, podcasts, etc.

  • Lead event planning and event sync meetings as well as handle logistical details as needed.

  • Oversee key messages/theme; event goals; booth builder vendor, design and develop ment; graphic design (working with outside agency); selection / placement of product demos and accompanying poster content (working with marketing); etc.

  • Leverage and/or refine processes to support communication and operations for managing vendors and communicating internally.

  • Support on-site logistics, travel, and other activities as necessary.

  • Manage events within specified budget.

  • Provide event success metrics and reports.

    What We're Seeking:

  • 6 to 8+ years marketing communications experience.

  • Expert knowledge of basic graphic design rules and proven expertise/experience using Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite. We will want to see your portfolio and you should be able to talk/walk us through your design process. Candidates who advance to the second stage of the interview process will be given a design test.

  • Familiarity and comfort using Digital Asset Management tools such as Aprimo or Bynder or similar.

  • Excellent communication skills, especially impeccable written and spoken English language and grammar. The AP Stylebook is your bible. Candidates who advance to the second stage of the interview process will be given an editing test.

  • Experience leading a company’s presence at an industry trade show.

  • Strong project management skills and experience.

  • Two years of experience with a global technology company (semiconductor experience is a plus).

  • An energetic, fearless, positive, can-do attitude mixed with professionalism and acute attention to detail.

  • Someone who is process-oriented, but adaptable/flexible.

  • Someone detail-oriented (did we say that already?), with excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and work under pressure with very short deadlines.

  • Team player with strong relationship management skills, able to manage cross-functional project teams to deliver tasks on deadline.

  • Ability to grasp how individual tasks, roles, departments fit into the bigger corporate picture and mission.

  • Someone who can juggle priorities, has a sense of urgency (not panic), and a sense of humor.

    This role reports to the Director of MarCom based in California, but will be primarily supporting activities for China/Southeast Asia/Australia under direction from the Sr MarCom Manager based in China. The ideal person will have strong graphic design, project management, and trade show skills with the ability to grasp the larger picture while still paying attention to details to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
