Mission
Oversees the operation of the Laboratory or a section by ensuring compliance with standards, procedures, and conformity of test results.
Supports and advises operational staff as a Technical expert.
Main Responsibilities
Carries out calculations, prepares files and data sheets within his/her scope
Participates in technical expertise: can take part in job meetings, audits, customer contacts, prepares files in case of disputes/claims, etc.
Develops project plans: reviews research specifications, secures resources, monitors project progress, and provides regular report to leadership teams
Ensures the technical promotion of the structure's activities: provides expertise in the analysis and interpretation of results or data
Ensures technical knowledge of products and methods by employees
Ensures the development of the technical skills of teams and gathers feedback: ensures the training of technicians if test standards and regulations change
May participate in innovative projects at Group level
Manages the technical teams: organizes, coordinates and controls the work carried out in each specific area (calculations, formulations, quality control)
Profile
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 4-5 years of experience
