Power Integrations Documentation Specialist in Pasig City, Philippines
Job Summary A documentation specialist is responsible for creating documents and maintaining document records, shepherding documentation through the internal approval process as well as organizing translation and dissemination of completed documents to the appropriate locations. Your primary job is to manage document drafts and component parts, use them to assemble completed documents and ensure their on-time delivery and approval. In addition, coordinating collaborative workflows and updating existing documents while maintaining revision control will be important activities. You will assist your senior officer in maintaining and improving document management systems and physical records. You will also support various teams worldwide by providing documentation to synchronize with product milestones from inception through to obsolescence and by providing regular reporting of document and project portfolio status. Documents to support trade-shows, conferences, sales activities and online publications will also come within your remit. Job Responsibilities
Reviews and proofreads technical documents
Identifies changes made on the documents and confirms if changes are applicable to all affected areas or sections of the documents
Prepares narrative statements in engineering's point of view
Supports engineers in preparing technical documents
Maintains archive of documentation, document controls database and associated Change Requests (CRs)
Monitors (receive, log, track, and file) of documents in an EDMS (Electronic Data Management System)
Tracks document revisions, updates, and version control to ensure consistency and accuracy of information
Establishes and maintains record retention timelines
Supports customers on issues related to quality assurance and tracking their requests
Interacts and collaborates with various teams, teams, and other discipline leads for effective document development
Revises standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for continuous improvement of documentation systems
Supports internal and regulatory audits/inspections
Provides miscellaneous administrative support to project teams
Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
2 years of experience in technical writing or document creation in a semiconductor or R&D industry
Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering
Knowledgeable in electronics fundamentals, power electronics preferred
Excellent written and oral English skills
Good interpersonal and data organization skills
Must be reliable, flexible, tenacious and attentive to detail
Delivery focused and deadline oriented with the ability to meet objectives
Good working knowledge in use of spreadsheets, databases, word processing, PowerPoint and desktop publishing tools such as InDesign
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
