Bollinger Mississippi Shipbuilding TEST & TRIALS WORKER-C 2052 in Pascagoula, Mississippi
This is a TEST & TRIALS WORKER-C position located in Pascagoula, MS.
Job Summary: Implements Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures on all vessel equipment and systems, in compliance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), government, and Bollinger MS (BMS) requirements.
Responsibilities: The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. Conducts and completes all preventative maintenance requirements of customer and government owned equipment prior to acceptance, by the customer. Performs PM procedures as instructed by OEM specs and or BMS supplemental internal procedures. Addresses deficiencies evidenced as a result of PM and works with department Leads to correct deficiencies.
Qualifications: Strong mechanical aptitude and considerable knowledge of mechanical principals as related to the Shipbuilding industry. Good knowledge of basic tools, testing equipment, and measuring devices . Ability to read instructions and execute procedures as written. Ability to work with others in a team environment and strengthen departments overall mechanical prowess.
Experience and Training: Minimum of 6 months' experience in mechanical technology preferred in the marine industry or any equivalent combination of experience and training which results in the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
