R&P is looking for a mid-level professional who wants to join our US Navy PMS 377 Production Support Team. We are a defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Logistics Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.
Responsibilities
Receive & review PMS documentation such as List of Effective Pages (LOEP), Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs) & Maintenance Requirements Cards (MRCs) provided as Government Furnished Information (GFI) on CD-ROM from Fleet Technical Support Center Atlantic/Pacific (FTSCLANT/PAC). Distribute copies of the documentation to Pre-commissioning (PRECOM) Crew Provide technical oversite and feedback on Planned Maintenance System (PMS) documentation and development during Ship Construction New (SCN). Ensure Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRC) and Maintenance Index Pages (MIP) support Ship System requirements Support PMS related meetings and review sessions with NSWC-PD Through the use of TMs, Drawings, PMS documentation, LSAs, the COSAL and COSAL-related products, determine the adequacy and availability of tools, parts, materials, & test equipment to perform PMS IAW current directives Support Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) Reviews. Ensure for usage of current MRCs/MIPs for LSA systems scheduled for review Review the LCB breakout for applicable Planned Maintenance System (PMS) Functional Block diagram structure, as required Track projected HII PMS Document Development Milestone Schedule, associated TMs, and applicable LCB records/data for PMS impact and report results to LHA ILS Platform Manager Maintain liaison with the Ship's Crew, Ship's Platform Manager & FISCLANT/PAC in matters regarding PMS Provide HAZMAT AEL development feedback for PMS requirements. Prepare recommendations accompanied by draft copies for correction of discrepancies, inadequacies & non-support of identified PMS requirements. Recommendations shall be accompanied by draft copies of Allowance Appendix Pages (AAPs), Allowance Parts List (APLs), Allowance Equipage List (AELs)/Allowance Change Requests as appropriate.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience specifically managing preventative maintenance At least 5 years of experience reading, understand, utilize Technical Manuals, PMS documents, COSAL, and Functional Block diagrams Experience utilizing data retrieval and analysis tools listed At least 2 years supporting the US Navy Current or able to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance
