We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the industry located in Pasadena, Texas. The successful candidate will join our team and play a crucial role in managing our financial transactions and ensuring our financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Responsibilities

• Performing Account Reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Conducting Balance Sheet Reconciliation on a regular basis for financial clarity.

• Executing Bank Reconciliations to ensure all financial transactions are accurate.

• Overseeing the General Ledger, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date.

• Preparing Journal Entries, ensuring they accurately reflect the company's financial transactions.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reports.

• Managing the Month End Close process, ensuring all financial data has been accounted for.

• Operating within the NetSuite platform for various accounting tasks.

• Performing Variance Analysis to identify and understand any financial discrepancies.

Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sr. Accountant or similar role.

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.

• Skilled in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

• Adept in performing Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate.

• Solid understanding of General Ledger operations, including posting and tracking of transactions.

• Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries as part of regular accounting duties.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.

• Experience in performing Month End Close activities, including preparation of financial statements.

• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting software for managing financial processes.

• Expertise in Variance Analysis to identify and explain differences in financial performance.
