St. Luke’s Health Patients Medical Center (PMC), now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, has a great opportunity for an experienced Catheterization Technologist to join our talented cardiac team. We hold accreditations in Computer Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound (US), and Nuclear Medicine from the American College of Radiology (ACR), which is recognized as the gold standard in medical imaging.

Position Summary

Expert practitioner, educator, consultant and researcher.

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides assessment, teaching and follow-up instruction to a specific patient population and Provides guidance to management, staff and physicians

  • Identifies needs, plans and Implements educational programs within specialty area for staff, patients, and/or community. Actively Participates in Nursing and Patient Education Department activities

  • Serves in a consultative role to staff, management and health professionals in the hospital and community with focus on quality and cost containment

  • Disseminates and conducts nursing research

  • Serves as leader in the development and attainment of organizational goals

  • Demonstrates professional practice by serving as a liaison among the program staff, advisory committee and facility administration

  • Defines, refines, re-focuses role in relation to nursing and organizational needs

  • Role models positive guest relations and collaborative practice

  • Is self-directed in fostering personal expertise and future professional development

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Licensure:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Registered Nurse and BLS required

Minimum Experience:

  • Two (2) years of related work experience

Pay Range

$32.95-$47.78/ hour
