Insight Global IEC Engineer in Pasadena, Texas
Job Description
A client in Pasadena is seeking a long-term contractor as an IEC Engineer, to add to their capital projects team. The IEC Engineer will provide instrument, electrical, and controls engineering expertise for supporting day to day maintenance and operations, developing and implementing small I&E reliability projects, and providing I&E Turnaround and capital project support. This role will start as a 15-month project and has the potential to convert permanently or be extended long term.

Skills and Requirements
-Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in a petrochemical manufacturing facility including related instrument and electrical maintenance/reliability engineering experience.
-Experience with specification and sizing of control valves, valve actuators, and transmitters.
-Excellent planning and organizational skills and be able to evaluate and prioritize multiple tasks to ensure alignment with plant goals while acting with a sense of urgency (when required).
-Strong interpersonal and conflict resolutions skills.
-Proficiency in all standard MS Office products, and SAP Plant Maintenance and Project Management Modules. -Experience working directly for a chemical, plastics polymers producers null
