Job Title: Warehouse Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Specialist to perform warehouse work related to the receipt, storage, and distribution of products, parts, and materials. The ideal candidate will verify the quantity, quality, and labeling of merchandise according to purchase documents and shipping manifests, receive products in SAP, stock incoming products, prepare merchandise for shipment, and assist in various other warehouse tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse work related to receipt of shipment, storage, and distribution of products, parts, and materials.

• Verify quantity, quality, and labeling of merchandise according to purchase documents and shipping manifests.

• Receive product in SAP as per the purchase and shipping documents.

• Stock the incoming products after receiving is completed.

• Prepare merchandise for shipment via UPS, FedEx, truck lines, or other means of shipment with minimal supervision.

• Palletize larger orders using a hand truck, pallet jack, or forklift.

• Attach and verify all shipping labels and place in designated pick-up area.

• Assist in the assembly of specification orders.

• Assist in keeping warehouse locations clean and organized.

• Assist in unloading overseas containers and truck shipments of merchandise.

• Label all inventory and non-inventory items with proper part numbers when necessary under minimal supervision.

• 2 – 3 years of warehouse experience preferred

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Environment

You will work in a warehouse environment where you will use various equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts. The role may involve lifting heavy items and requires attention to detail to ensure accurate labeling and shipment of products. The warehouse is kept clean and organized, and you will be expected to maintain this standard. The dress code is casual and comfortable to allow for easy movement and handling of materials.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00
