IQVIA Senior IT Support Specialist (VIP/C-Suite/Executive Support) in Parsippany, New Jersey

We’re actively seeking an exceptional IT support professional to provide top-tier assistance to our esteemed C-suite executives at IQVIA. In this critical role, you’ll ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction for this influential group. The ideal candidate will proactively address IT issues, demonstrate a keen sense of urgency, and know precisely when to escalate matters. Previous experience supporting C-suite employees within a global organization is highly desirable.

What you will do:

  • Provide both on-site and remote IT support to C suite level employees. To include managing white glove updates and system refreshes for C suite level employees along with day to day issues.

  • Support to include both Windows and macOS based laptops as well as mobile devices including iPads and iPhones

  • Regularly test, manage and maintain conference room audio visual systems to include Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTRs). Also to include working with the AV team and external vendors to upgrade rooms with new equipment as required

  • Escalate more complex problems to appropriate level of management and provide information on problems that are severe in nature or that are exceeding target dates.

  • Establish and implement Information Technology (IT) policies, procedures and standards and ensure conformance with information systems goals and procedures.

  • Provide advice, support and guidance to site IT infrastructure as well as manage assets, backup/restore operations, preventive maintenance and system protection.

  • Provide technical leadership and act as mentor to junior staff. Delegate IT support tasks, provide training, advice and assistance when necessary and aid in personal development.

  • Provide technical leadership in the effective use of internal data processing, automated office systems and data communications.

  • Participate on global and regional project teams.

  • Work with IT Director to plan and support both on-site and offsite C suite events such as Board meetings.

  • Some travel including international to support C suite events required.

  • Perform other duties as required.

  • May be required to perform duties outside working hours. This will be managed according to the applicable country legislation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • 7 years experience of PC software (Microsoft operating systems and macOS, applications suites, email systems, etc.) within a network environment as a team leader; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft workstation and networking technologies.

  • Working knowledge of industry standards with regards to system and network administration.

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.

  • Project management exposure.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $102,400.00 - $170,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
