Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in Parsippany, New Jersey. This role is in the telecom industry and will primarily involve managing the reception area, handling calls, and performing various administrative tasks. The workplace will be a dynamic and fast-paced environment where organization and communication skills are vital.

Responsibilities:

• Fielding and routing calls efficiently to ensure smooth communication within the office.

• Ordering and stocking supplies necessary for day-to-day operations.

• Maintaining the reception area to create a welcoming environment for guests.

• Sorting and posting mail, ensuring all correspondence reaches the correct recipients.

• Placing food orders for meetings and managing vending machines to cater to the needs of the staff.

• Replenishing kitchen supplies such as coffee pods and utensils to maintain a comfortable breakroom environment.

• Scanning and indexing tickets for the billing department, promoting accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

• Booking meeting rooms and handling set up/clean-up for meetings to facilitate smooth and productive sessions.

• Conducting mass mailings for certain holidays, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed.

• Taking on ad hoc projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and dedication to the overall team performance. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required

• Excellent customer service skills are necessary

• Experience with data entry is essential

• Ability to handle email correspondence effectively

• Strong interpersonal skills are necessary

• Previous experience with organizing files is required

• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently

• Prior experience with receptionist duties is a must
