Summary:

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data engineering, data analytics, and BI reporting. This role will be responsible for leading, designing, implementing, and maintaining the data insights layer with standardized usage and consumption using Google Big Query infrastructure. This role will play a crucial role in managing and transforming data using various data products to make it accessible, usable, and meaningful for analytical purposes. The role will be hands-on and will be responsible for modernizing the existing analytical applications, including defining and implementing analytical standards, guidelines, and best practices, and collaborating with IT and business teams to design and review analytical use cases.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines into usable formats for analytics and insights using GCP Toolsets, such as cloud composer, cloud fusion, Data forms, and more.

• Collaborate with advanced analytics lead, data product lead, data transformation lead, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and design appropriate data analytical solutions using Google Big Query.

• Data consolidation: Lead, Design, develop, and implement data transformation to bring together data from diverse data products ensuring accuracy, consistency, scalability, and reliability.

• Data Modeling: Collaborate with data architects and analysts to understand data requirements and create data insights for efficient transformation and usage.

• Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve data transformation issues, troubleshoot errors, and ensure the smooth functioning of Big Query data objects.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and recommend improvements to existing processes.

Under This Roof, We Require

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.

• 10 or more years of experience in data analytics/data foundation experience in analytics.

• Strong understanding of techniques to visualize enterprise data and analytics.

• Advanced analytics experience on multiple functional domains to analyze large and complex data sets and generate actionable insights and recommendations.

• Predictive analytics, Statistical techniques, R/Python.

• Experience in Enterprise analytics tools like Tableau.

• Proven experience as a data engineer or similar role, with a focus on data transformation.

• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases, as well as implementation framework for data products and data insights.

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and SQL and possibly others like Scala or Java.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, especially Big Query.

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in the data analytics field.

• Self-driven, motivated candidate without much hand-holding.
