Avi-On Labs, Inc. Warehouse Quality Control Analyst in PARK CITY, Utah
Job Duties:
Manage and coordinate warehouse quality control to meet product distribution needs for wireless lighting ecosystem company.
Specific duties include:
Quality Control: Test hardware, software, firmware, and the integrated product to verify operation of new and existing products in both lab and field conditions. Utilize LabView test suites and EE lab equipment to meticulously examine returned products, identifying manufacturing defects and installation errors, while communicating findings to hardware and software engineers. Perform OTA firmware updates to ensure seamless integration of updated software and enhance device functionality, while meticulously reporting and troubleshooting detected faults for swift resolution. Develop and maintain automated & manual test plans, test cases, and data sets to guarantee supplier quality adherence and product functionality in accordance with requirements. Conduct detailed inspections and evaluations of software and hardware components in raw material, in-process and finished product, identifying and documenting defects, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Work with Product team to create technical and qualitative content to nurture relationships and add value.
Off- or On-site Commissioning: Provide guidance to customers and partners in effectively utilizing and installing wireless lighting control products by assisting in custom programming, integration with IoT platform, and installation of high/low-voltage lighting control systems. Program wireless lighting control and digital lighting systems, troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems, and provide system training to end-users.
Project Management and Technical Support: Collect and track data before, during, and after installation to coordinate and ensure successful outcomes. Provide remote, in-person and written technical support to both internal and external customers - before, during, and after the sale.
Product Assembly and Pre-Installation Coordination: Coordinate product assembly in warehouse and ensure company has adequate components and labor-hours to complete tasks prior to shipment. Stage and pre-commission lighting control systems to facilitate easier/faster onsite provisioning.
Inventory Management: Maintain warehouse inventory, perform data entry, and ensure that adequate product is available to fulfill upcoming jobs.
Education Requirements: Bachelor in Industrial or Electrical Engineering, or closely related
Experience Requirements: 2 years in Project or Quality Control Management, Industrial Production, Warehousing Management, or related.
Special Skills:
Knowledge of engineering principles and electrical instruments, including function generators, digital multimeters and oscilloscopes; and ability to apply knowledge in industrial setting.
Technology skills, including MATLAB/Simulink, PADS Pro Design, MS Office and Python.
Valid driver's license.
