Accounting Administrative Assistant

Park City, UT

$22.00hr. to $25.00hr

Monday- Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Flexible Schedule)

A well-established, diversified certified public accounting firm is looking to add an Accounting Administrative Assistant to their team in Park City! This person will perform clerical, administrative, and accounting duties in an office setting. The ideal candidate is able to multi-task, effectively communicate with people, assist in multiple departments, and work independently once given a task. Responsibilities:

  • Open and close the office

  • Answer phones and reroute calls to the appropriate people

  • Assist in filing duties

  • Perform basic bookkeeping duties

  • Perform data entry

  • Scanning returns

  • Assist Accountants with creating and editing financial documents

  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets

  • Performs a wide variety of clerical and administrative tasks as directed and required for the support of the office or individual

  • Assist with contract administration/document management

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs

  • Experience with bookkeeping is preferred

  • Must be able to learn other accounting software systems

  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

  • Must be dependable and able to work independently

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Must have a positive attitude

  • Ability to provide accurate reports and data in a timely manner

  • Ability to plan, initiate, and complete work assignments with a minimum of direction
