6 MONTHS INTERNSHIP

Trade Marketing team is looking for a 6-month intern from January 2025. The role will be based in Paris Coty headquarter (14, rue du 4 Septembre 75002).

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Trade Marketing Intern, your main focus will be to implement the fragrance and makeup initiatives in international markets.

The Global Trade Marketing is a commercial team, embedded in the brand, whose top line missions are to:

• Build and implement long-term Trade Marketing strategies surrounding the 4 Ps across retail channels to successfully establish Coty brands and accelerate market share growth

• Steer & monitor market performances

• Fuel brand global teams with market updates and business performance

• Be the voice TO the markets and OF the markets

The Trade Marketing team has exposure and interactions with many of Coty business units worldwide (Local Trade marketing and Local Marketing), Fragrance and Makeup Global Marketing team other internal teams such as Merchandising, Digital, Influencer Marketing, Media and Global Promotions teams based in Paris. All your colleagues are passionate about Beauty and internationally focused. Working in the team, you will join a dynamic, fast-paced, business-oriented team and learn the specificities and business drivers of the different regions.

Some of your responsibilities may include:

• Track and analyze sell-in & sell-out performance at global level against KPIs/comparable benchmarks

• Run ad-hoc Trade Marketing analysis.

• Assist markets in their operational requests

• Be responsible for consolidating and tracking the global trade plans/marketing calendars and manage launch dates for all markets

• In charge of consolidating post-launch recap presentations

• Facilitate the preparation of key meetings including business review and fashion house presentations

• Coordinate launch needs with marketing teams (samples, assets, mock ups,…)

• Run market, competitor analysis and online auditing

• Manage & consolidate Global brand updates with Global teams via Sharepoint and Newsletter updates to Markets

• Actualize brand Distribution database and global contact list

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You like to interact with cross functional teams and learn about the beauty business environment and international trends. As an experienced Trade Marketer, you coordinate requests and feedback with your peers and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you:

• are a Masters student with prior 6-months internship in marketing or sales or consulting

• have a strong business acumen and analytical background (advanced Excel skills required)

• are used to evolve in an international context and fluent in English (>50% work in English)

• are keen to work in a fast-paced environment and to lead projects in an independent manner

• are reliable and attentive to details

• are passionate about the beauty industry
