You will take pride in producing accurate and quality production schedules which account for service level targets, inventory targets, plant resources and costs optimization. You will drive continuous improvement of people and processes across the planning and vendor scheduling functions. You will be the primary contact for MFG leadership, planning & commercial teams, external manufacturers and international supply chain for management of inventory and production planning.
How you will contribute
You will:
Oversee sequencing of production planned orders on the short-term horizon base on available line capacity and materials availability using SAP APO (Planning Book) / Weekly planning cycle
Review and updates production process constraints and reflect in SAP APO
Convert of SNP orders to planned order and releasing of process orders prior week of production run.
Oversee weekly run of SAP MRP provide short term call-offs and longer forecast to approved vendors according to Mater Production Schedule (MPS) and provides weekly RMPM requirements
Closely work with internal teams (MBD, Supply Planning, Marketing, Demand Planning) to deliver NPDs and other projects per committed available to order.
Track shipments and flagged business impact of any delays, and adjust plans accordingly.
Collaborate with other plant functions such as plant DMS and SCORE meeting
Oversee case fill rate and DIFC management thru prioritization of SKUs on production planning to mitigate any CFR and NR risk impacts
Comply to Schedule tracking, update in Quickbase and lead RCAs on misses
Ensure APO adoption score compliance in Deployment (DRP), Optimizer (MPS), Converted Process Order (PDDS)
Adopt IL6S ways of working and contribute to the E2E SN Pillar such as Operational Strategy (RFS, DPS, VSM, WPI)
Review and update run rates of equipment based on realized efficiency
Track FG releasing to meet Turn-Around Time (TAT) in coordination with quality and production
Coordinate with Product Supply on the volume forecast and week on week demand
Ensures Inventory Write Off (IWO) is at the minimum during material transitions
Be a pillar member handling SWP and QP ownership
Oversee Identification of truck loading and unloading hotspot areas and develop safety controls to eliminate or lower the safety risk.
What you will bring

Relevant work experience in production & material planning, demand planning, inventory management & handling, Line Operations, and/or Forecasting
Computer proficiency (MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & experience in ERP (SAP) systems
Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written), Analytical & Problem solving skills, strong collaboration and relationship management skills
