Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator in Paramount, California. In the logistics industry, the role entails managing customer interactions, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining accurate records of transportation and goods.

Responsibilities:

• Effective communication with clients, couriers, and other operational departments.

• Organization of personnel and assistance with required training.

• Quality assurance checks completion and maintenance.

• Monitoring deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Scheduling and dispatching drivers.

• Verification of booking information against terminal systems.

• Maintenance of up-to-date daily reports.

• Arrangement for necessary repairs.

• Billing and invoicing of all files.

• Data entry and heavy email communication.

• Provision of customer service.

• Conducting tasks or assignments as directed. Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in business systems and logistics industry

• Proficiency in using Cargowise, CRM, and ERP Solutions

• Experience with About Time software and handling billing functions

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Exceptional customer service skills and experience in dealing with customers

• Knowledge and experience in handling customs procedures

• Ability to coordinate logistics and handle global logistics operations

• Understanding of intermodal logistics

• Experience in logistics and distribution

• Proficient in using logistics tools and software

• Knowledge of global logistics industry trends and best practices.
