Job Title: Project Coordinator

Job Description

Actalent is assisting their partner Splashtacular in hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to oversee waterslide, waterpark and similar portfolio projects across the US. In this role, you will assist with the initiation and tracking of contract projects, ensuring compliance and successful completion. You will support Engineering Specialists and Project Managers in preparing submittals and operation/maintenance manuals, and generate documentation for subcontracts and project-specific needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in initiating and tracking contract projects to ensure compliance and timely completion.

  • Support Engineering Specialists and Project Managers with submittals and operation/maintenance manual preparation.

  • Initiate documents for subcontracts and change orders.

  • Create detailed installation guide packets for all projects.

  • Generate operation and maintenance manuals for all projects.

  • Review customer contracts to determine the need for project-specific documentation.

  • Assist Project Managers with all project-related tasks and overflow.

  • Comprehend detailed construction and manufacturing schedules to ensure consistency.

  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding problems, obstacles, issues, and information needs.

  • Effectively meet the needs of internal and external customers.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry.

  • Experience working alongside Project Managers and outside vendors.

  • 1+ year of experience with RFQ (Request for Quotation).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in project coordination, procurement, budgeting, and RFQ processes.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to effectively use email and other communication tools.

Work Environment

This position is 100% in-office with an 8-5 work schedule. You will work in a team-oriented, casual, and fun environment with paid benefits for employees. Our team consists of 22-25 staff members, including 2 other coordinators. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow under the guidance of experienced professionals.

About Splashtacular:

As the largest US-based waterslide company, Splashtacular offers design, engineering, installation, and maintenance services for waterslides and waterpark attractions around the world. Centrally located just south of Kansas City, Splashtacular provide imaginative, custom-designed attractions to a wide range of clients, including destination resorts, waterparks, fitness centers, private facilities, and municipalities. Since 1994, Splashtacular has built out more than 1,200 waterpark projects with over 3,000 exhilarating waterslides, play units, and water features. The role includes limited travel and the opportunity to test and inspect projects personally. After 90 days, a hybrid work schedule is available, with 2 remote days per week. Paid benefits are provided for employees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00
