We’re looking for a Senior Specialist, SEO to join Snap Inc.’s global Small and Medium Customers (SMC) organization. This role will support the SMC Growth team focused on acquiring SMC advertisers on Snapchat, and driving revenue in priority SMC segments.

The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer with direct experience driving SEO strategy and tactical executions resulting in measurable impact.

What You’ll Do:

  • Define technical and content SEO strategies to drive organic growth and improve user experience on ForBusines.Snapchat.com and other related web properties

  • Consistently analyze and monitor performance, identifying trends, and developing data-driven insights to guide decision-making and strategy adjustments

  • Provide regular updates, reporting, and presentations with the broader team and serve as the resident expert in all things SEO

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, analysis, and selection to identify opportunities for content optimization and collaborate with SEM lead to target high-converting traffic from paid and organic search

  • Perform competitive analysis to identify industry trends, monitor competitor strategies, and recommend actionable insights to maintain a competitive advantage

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop & implement SEO framework to ensure consistency and understanding of SEO goals across web properties and geos

  • Identify opportunities to tailor strategies to global markets, diving in to region-specific performance trends and nuances

  • Partner with CRO, SEM, Digital Media, Content/Creative, and Data Science to ensure the alignment of digital marketing efforts with overall SMC marketing objectives

  • Stay up-to-date on SEO trends, technical updates, and best practices to remain at the forefront of innovation

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven experience leading SEO, with a strong track record of successfully implementing SEO strategies and achieving measurable results

  • In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices

  • Proficiency in SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, or similar platforms

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven recommendations.

  • Experience with website analysis, keyword research, and competitive analysis tools.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and comfort with ambiguity

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple campaigns, projects, etc., simultaneously

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive continuous improvement and innovation in digital marketing strategies and tactics

  • Familiarity with digital media landscape and digital ads platforms

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Looker or similar applications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing SEO strategies and execution, preferably at a tech company or digital agency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B marketing

  • Experience executing global SEO strategy

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $114,000-$171,000 annually.

Zone B (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $108,000-$163,000 annually.

Zone C (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $97,000-$145,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
